Clafouti aux cerises - Cherries Clafoutis



Ingredients 250 gr cherries, with their stones 50 gr almond flour 2 eggs 30 gr sugar (or 2 tbsp maple syrup) 150 ml milk

Instructions Preheat the oven to 210ºC. Butter a small dish. Place all the cherries in the dish. Place all the other ingredients in the TM and mix 20 seconds, Speed 4. Pour over the cherries. Bake 10 minutes at 210ºC and then 20 minutes at 180ºC.

Eat hot with a dollop of ice-cream or whipped cream or cold on its own. Enjoy!

 

The recipe can be done without a TM. Just place all the ingredients, except the cherries, in a food processor and mix until smooth.

This recipe is for 2.

Double it up easily and you have a dessert to share with friends in record time and minimum work. ;-)

For info: A "clafouti" is a classic French dessert made with unpitted cherries as the pits release some almond flavour during cooking. It's dead easy to make and works wonderfully well with apricots or peaches too.
