Ingredients 180 gr milk 1 pack dried yeast 2 eggs 60 gr melted butter 430 gr flour 1 pinch of salt 80 gr sugar
For the filling/decoration
Chocolate spread/jam/crème pâtissière Melted butter and sugar Melted chocolate and multicolored sprinkles
Instructions Place the milk and the dried yeast in the Thermomix bowl for 3 minutes, 37°C, Speed 2. Add all the other ingredients and knead for 2 minutes. Transfer into a bowl covered with cling film for 1 hour at least. (The dough needs to double in size). Flour your working area. Transfer the dough on the working surface. Punch it to get rid of the air. Roll it to about 3 mm thickness. Using a cooking ring, cut disk until you've used all the dough. Place them on a baking sheet.
For the ones with a hole, simply cut a hole in the center, once on the baking sheet. For the stuffed ones, just press your thumb at the center of the donut, place a teaspoon of the filling of your choice and then, close it over (so they look like a half-moon shape rather than a round donut). Let them rest for another 1 hour in the oven with the light on. Once you're ready to bake, take them out of the oven to preheat it to 180°C. While the oven is preheating, brush the donuts with a mixture of milk and sugar. Bake for 10 minutes.
Once they are cooked, the ones you want with sugar, just dip them in melted butter and sugar as soon as they are out of the oven. For the ones you want covered in chocolate, just melt the chocolate and dip the donuts in the chocolate. Drop multicolored sprinkles over the chocolate. Bon appétit !
