Easy Apple Turnover ("Chaussons aux pommes")

Ingredients
1 sheet of puff pastry
1 big apple (or 2 small ones)
1 tsp all spices (or cinnamon)
1 tbsp sugar
1 bit of milk
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 220°C.
Unroll the pastry and cut it in 2 lengthway, then each half in 4 so you get 8 squares.
Peel the apple and slice it roughly. Divide it between 4 squares.
Sprinkle with the allspices or cinnamon.
Use a pastry brush to brush the edges of the 4 pastry squares with a bit of milk.
Place the remaining pastry squares gently over the apple, lining the edges.
Using a fork, press the edges gently to seal the squares together.
Brush the top of the pastries with the milk.
Mix the sugar and the rest of allspices/cinnamon and sprinkle over the top.
Place on a baking tray and bake for 10 minutes and then, reduce the oven 180°C and bake for another 5 minutes.
Serve warm with cream, vanilla ice-cream or vanilla yogurt. Bon appétit !
