Ingredients

1 sheet of puff pastry

1 big apple (or 2 small ones)

1 tsp all spices (or cinnamon)

1 tbsp sugar

1 bit of milk

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 220°C.

Unroll the pastry and cut it in 2 lengthway, then each half in 4 so you get 8 squares.

Peel the apple and slice it roughly. Divide it between 4 squares.

Sprinkle with the allspices or cinnamon.

Use a pastry brush to brush the edges of the 4 pastry squares with a bit of milk.

Place the remaining pastry squares gently over the apple, lining the edges.

Using a fork, press the edges gently to seal the squares together.

Brush the top of the pastries with the milk.

Mix the sugar and the rest of allspices/cinnamon and sprinkle over the top.

Place on a baking tray and bake for 10 minutes and then, reduce the oven 180°C and bake for another 5 minutes.

Serve warm with cream, vanilla ice-cream or vanilla yogurt. Bon appétit !
