Figs and Almonds Clafoutis



Ingredients

6 figs

2 eggs

100 ml milk

1 tbsp honey (or maple syrup if you prefer)

50 gr almond powder

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 180°C.

Place all the ingredients, except the figs, in the Thermomix bowl, Speed 4, 15 seconds. Brush the figs and slice them in two.

Place them in a buttered dish.

Cover with the mixture, trying to pour the batter around the fruits.

Bake for 25 minutes.

Best eaten warm or cold with a scoop of ice-cream or a dollop of crème fraîche.

 

This recipe is gluten-free, refined-sugar free and wheat-free. It's actually a very versatile one and many fruits will work.

I've made it with apricots, peaches, cherries, plums with great success.
