Chocolate Crinkles



Ingredients

50 gr sugar 100 gr dark chocolate 25 gr salted butter 1 egg ¼ tsp vanilla paste 110gr flour 1 tsp baking powder 1 pinch of salt 50 gr icing sugar

Instructions Place the dark chocolate in the Thermomix bowl, Speed 9, 10 seconds. Add the butter, Speed 2, 2 minutes, 50°C. Add the egg, the sugar, the vanilla paste, Speed 4, 30 seconds. Add the salt, the flour and the baking powder, Speed 5, 15 seconds. Place the dough in the bowl with cling film and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Preheat the oven to 170°C. Take the dough out of the fridge. Take a bit of the dough with a spoon and make a little ball. Roll the ball in the icing sugar Place them on a baking sheet. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes. Let them cool down and enjoy! Bon appétit!

 

You can do this recipe without a Thermomix. Melt the butter and chocolate on a low heat. Remove from the heat, add the rest of the ingredients and refrigerate. Then, follow the recipe as mentioned above.

Chocolate Crinkles are a kind of cookies coated in icing sugar, which cracks during the bake.
