No-Churn Banana and Cacao nibs Ice-Cream in 20 seconds

Ingredients

2 bananas, frozen in slices (try to freeze them on a tray so it's easier to blend).

1 tsp of cacao nibs

Instructions

Place the bananas in the Thermomix bowl, Speed 10, 15 seconds.

Make sure to cover your ears, as it will be very loud the first few seconds. Once the bananas are reduced into a powder, add the cacao nibs, and mix Speed 5 or 6 for a few seconds.

Tah-dah! Done!

Scoop onto a cone and eat immediately, as it melts fast enough. Bon appétit !

This recipe can be made in any food processor too.

This is a great base for any healthy sorbet you fancy. The main rule is to keep the ratio of 1:2 otherwise, the banana flavour is overpowering. So one portion of frozen sliced bananas to two portions of any other frozen fruits.

I've done this recipe many times over the summer with strawberries, raspberries, mango, pineapples, fruits of the forest, peaches with great success.

Children love it too and it really feels like eating real sorbets with any nasty chemicals/additives/baddies.

It's a great recipe too when you've forgotten bananas and they are all black and not very appetising. Just slice them and freeze them.

You can also add sugar (icing sugar works best, as it's the finest) if you want a sweeter ice-cream.

Do not refreeze afterwards, as it doesn't behave well on the second freeze !
