Ingredients
170 gr butter
120 gr sugar
150 gr almond powder
50 gr flour
150 gr egg whites
1 pinch of salt
Sliced almonds for decoration
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 200°C.
Cut the butter in cubes and place in the Thermomix bowl, Speed 1, 60°C, 4 minutes.
Add (in the following order) the sugar, the almond powder, the flour, the egg whites and the salt.
Mix Speed 3, 30 seconds.
Sprinkle sliced almonds for decoration
Divide the dough in your tartlets tins and bake 10 to 15 minutes.
Insert a skewer after 10/12 minutes. If it comes out clean, the financiers are cooked.
Remove from the oven and from the tins.
Let them cool completely before sprinkling icing sugar.
The recipe can be done without a Thermomix.
Melt the butter over a gentle heat. Add all the ingredients and mix well.
Place in the tins and cook as requested.
You can add fruits once the dough is in the tins. Raspberries or blueberries work well.
