Ingredients 150 gr cocoa powder 125 gr butter 4 eggs 150 gr sugar 1 tsp baking powder

Instructions Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Place the butter in the Thermomix bowl for 5 minutes, 100°C, Speed 2.
Add the eggs and sugar and mix for 1 minute, Speed 4.
Add the flour and cocoa powder and mix 30 seconds, Speed 4.
Transfer to a baking tin lined with parchment paper or a silicon mould that you've run under the tap.
Bake for 30 minutes.
Check it's cooked by inserting a skewer in the cake. If it comes out clean, it's cooked. If not, add a few more minutes and check again.
Serve warm or cold with whipped cream, vanilla ice-cream or on its own.
The recipe can be done without a Thermomix.
Melt the butter on a low heat, then place in a mixing bowl.
Add the ingredients as per the recipe and mix well with a wooden spoon or a hand-held mixer.
You can add nuts or swirl of peanut butter to the recipe. Simply add them once the dough is in the tin.
